It is amazing! Among other things, it proves that you don't need reciprocating retro rockets for manouver. I just hope the floating plastic piece at the 2:40 isn't part of the ship. But it has truly gained me! Congratulations mister!
That is The ARGO, from Star Blazers (circa 1983) Very cool. Star Blazers, was Very early Japanese cartoon, space opera, (Drama) which involved the reinstating, and upgrade of the WWII Yamato. Their task was to save the World from it's invaders.

You know that model cost a pretty penny not just its size, but it also has bow thrusters pretty expensive Hobby I wish him luck with it. truly beautiful...
Now all they can do to top this is make an actual working aircraft carrier with multiple working rc planes and helix all sized to the ship and make it futuristic...boom
My All time favorite Sci-Fi ships a Space Battleship Yamato, Battlestar Galactica, Nell. From; Battle Beyond The Stars, Cylon Basestar, Comet Empire. Etc.
It is very nice, one of my favorite childhood cartoons. But I still think the Wave Motion gun should fire. Just get some tachyon particles and stuff them into a container.
Also, in real life, I'm not sure how well thar ship would do. It's center of gravity is way too far back and hardly anything up front to balance it out
It's an incredible model and clearly created as a labor of love. But a few things are puzzling: How can you have such a large model and not have at least the main guns turn and elevate? (With such huge spaces, each individual gun on the turrets could also be made to elevate.) Similarly, why not have the main guns on the side do the same? The main guns could also be lit with blue lights. Finally... I love the red light in back and the spray created by the engine. How about a blue light for the wave motion gun that gets bright and then fades?
Amazing! The detail is incredible. Star Blazers was my first introduction to anime style cartoons. I was very young when I first saw it, but it left a positive lifelong impression on me. That ship is so iconic, and the episodes dealt with some very weighty subject matter ... especially when you’re only six. I know this beautiful working model is the Yamoto ... but I grew up calling it the Argo. Derek Wildstar was one of my hero’s.
Much can be applied in modern legal proceedings, say a 360-degree turn with the help of additional engines. Say on tankers, and other large-size vessels.
Now what would be most impressive is to have the model of the Yamato go from the water all the way up into Outer Space! does this particular model have the detractable wings to?, also do you have the model of the Space Battleship Andromeda? with the twin wave motion guns..

What's the sense of this? Remebering the Yamato and her sister Musashi you should be aware, that even big ships can be sunk easily by just a few airplanes. So this model was obsolete in the day of planning.
I agree completely with you. This is complete nonsense! Just a 'few' airplanes? You mean wave after wave each consisting of 110 carrier launched planes? Yes most educated people would remember the entire report on what it took to sink it. I have no idea what you remember about it.

One of my favourite cartoon when i was a kid in the 70's. Sometimes that space battle ship comes to my mind even today.
She's always beautiful, and a source of inspiration to all of us.

I like the music... the suspense and NOTHING HAPPENED, except a lot of propeller cavitation, very unstable and uncontrollable

Install an anti torque prop on it to counter the torque of the drive motor, then it won't lean to the right making the water push it left.
I Think the thruster engines should be turned down a lot to make a more realistic motion .
